*Creyos Cognitive Assessments Are Not Formal Psychological Testing

BeNu Integrative Psychiatry does not provide formal standardized psychological testing, including comprehensive diagnostic batteries (e.g., Autism Spectrum Disorder evaluations, developmental/learning disability evaluations, dementia evaluations), neuropsychological testing, personality/IQ testing, or forensic evaluations. Creyos Cognitive Testing is a brief, computerized cognitive screening and monitoring tool used to track select domains (e.g., attention, memory, processing speed, etc.) over time for measurement-based care. It is not a substitute for comprehensive psychological or neuropsychological assessments. Formal standardized psychological testing is typically performed by a licensed psychologist or neuropsychologist (PhD/PsyD), with testing components sometimes administered by trained staff under the supervising psychologist’s direction. Taking a Creyos assessment is straightforward and hassle-free.

Your BeNu provider schedules a time period for you to complete the assessment (usually before your initial appointment).

Report delivery: once complete, your results are sent to your BeNu clinician for review and discussion.

I feel like I did not do well in my assessment. Should I be concerned?

Not necessarily. Many factors can influence performance (sleep, stress, distractions, unfamiliarity with the tasks). Your BeNu clinician interprets results in context—symptoms, history, and current functioning—rather than relying on a single score. If anything looks inconsistent, we may recommend repeating modules or pairing results with additional clinical evaluation.

How will my BeNu healthcare practitioner use the results?

We use results to support data-informed decisions: clarifying areas like attention, processing speed, memory, and executive functioning, and aligning treatment options (medication strategy, psychotherapy targets, sleep interventions, integrative supports). If repeated later, results can help track whether your plan is producing meaningful change over time.

I could not complete my assessment due to interruption or technical issues. What should I do?

Stop and contact BeNu staff at (904) 544-3608 so we can advise next steps (restart instructions, rescheduling, or troubleshooting). If possible, note what happened (time, device, browser, error message) to help us resolve it quickly.

Is Creyos a diagnostic test for ADHD, dementia, or other conditions?

Creyos provides objective cognitive and behavioral health data, but diagnosis is clinical and multi-factorial. At BeNu, we integrate Creyos with your history, symptom course, functional impairment, screening tools, and clinical interview to reach the most accurate conclusions. All patients without a previous diagnosis of ADHD or dementia will be required to complete a Creyos cognitive assessment in addition to a psychiatric evaluation appointment to support appropriate diagnosis and treatment planning.
